Stacy Carter has been a researcher in the School of Public Health at the University of Sydney since July 2000. She comes from a clinical background, having spent 10 years training and practicing as a Speech Pathologist, specialising in aged care and neurology. Stacy`s transition to research started in 1998, and she was awarded a Master of Public Health (Honours) in 2001. She is now enrolled in a PhD program, using the secret documents and whistleblower interviews to examine the marketing and promotion of cigarettes, smoking and the tobacco industry to the Australian community and Australian decision-makers.
